Swatch: Hello Kitty Blueberry

The first polish that I bought from Sephora...Blueberry from the Hello Kitty polish line.
This is one of the few blues that I own and feel comfortable wearing.

Sephora describes this as an "opaque pastel periwinkle blue".

One layer! Pretty sheer and applies spotty...But surprisingly it was VERY easy to apply.

Two layers & Much better!

But as you may (or may not) see on my pinky, a little of my nail & some of its ridges still peeked through. I was still satisfied with this, but you can easily go with 3 layers. If I remember correctly, this polish tried pretty quickly as well.

2 layers...Natural Lighting + Flash

2 layers...Natural Lighting + No Flash

On separate occasion, I wore:
2 layers of Blueberry + 1 layer of OPI Last Friday Night ... Artificial Lighting + Flash

Ahh! Look what happened to the polish. This was a long time ago, but the whole piece of nail polish came off from almost every nail! I don't know if it's my Top Coat or Last Friday Night but this has never happened with any of my mani's before...Not with Blueberry alone, not with Essie Good to Go top coat...never! There's always the usual & gradual chipping, but nothing like this :O

  1. When I fist saw the one layer picture, I was like, my goodness that's horrible, but then I saw the rest and it's actually such a cute color! The glitter makes it even better!! :D

    1. Yup! But glitter is such a pain in the butt to remove!

  2. Woaaah that chipping is crazy weird + cool :P
The LE polishes from HKxSephora's holiday collection are exceptionally good. The pastel colours in the regular line up are easily duped but the bottle is one of a kind.

    1. I'm going to try that combo again to see if it'll happen a second time. Maybe it was my application of something. Hopefully it doesn't happen! Such a waste of mani :X

  4. Ouch, it really does apply spotty at first! But looks SOOO much better after the second application. I really like this colour!

    1. I definitely don't regret choosing this color of all that were available, especially after all these compliments on the color :P

  5. Oh my god, the colors were cute and everything but that's insane how they just came off. Did it all peel off? At first I thought you were going to say that your NAILS fell off. O_O
At least that didn't happen but that's such a waste that it just came off like that.

  6. Shelly: That would be terrifying! >__<;; I kind of have a hunch it might have been the way I applied the top coat...going to experiment this particular combo again to make sure
